Try changing your default picture on a regular basis. This will make people more willing to visit your page to see what you have going on. Leaving your default picture the same for ages, makes people feel like your page has drifted on to the mountain of long abandoned MySpace pages.
Tired of people sending you friend requests, but they never bother to visit your page? Leave them a comment. Comments are always a good way to get repeat visitors to your page. And above that, the more you talk to them, the more likely you be to turn them into a true fan, and not just a casual listener.
When leaving comments, try not to place an enourmous advertisement in your comment. Most people do not appreciate their pages being used as your own personal billboard. Instead, try to comment back on what they had said, and if you wish to include some type of image, keep it small.
Why do you not accept requests from other music pages, film makers, and comedians? Film makers may be on the hunt for a fresh new group to use on a soundtrack, and if they can't contact you, they will look elsewhere. Bands? Every band has an influence, what happens when a band wants to pick you? It looks very "stuck on yourself", if they can not be on your list of fans and friends. Same goes for trying to set up tours and things of that nature.
We all know that you are proud and wish to show off all the footage from your shows. However, rather than setting up 20 different video players on your page, try text links to the players. Every one of those players slows down the loading time of your page...and if it takes too long, nobody is going to want to stick around.
While on the subject of page loading times. Do not put up fliers for every show you have coming up in the next year. Instead use the flier for your next show, and then use your event calendar to show off the next dates. Not only does this keep your page more visually attractive, it makes you not look like an advertising agency gone bad. It also gives you the chance to keep fresh content on your page, to further encourage those return visits.
